Hi Sorbie, not wanting to put any pressure on you, but do you have an estimated ETA for when you’ll be publishing the next part of this series?

I relate to parts of your story. And I’m really keen to hear more of your thoughts about the problematic term “borderline”.

hiya Barbara, I do not have a super clear timeline. If there is interest in this series (which there clearly is from you! thank you!), i guess maybe i should move it from the back burner to the front burner and read some more Kraepelin!

As you probably know, many female victims of abuse have been misdiagnosed as BPD. It’s a very common diagnosis given to women who leave their her abusive husbands.

I’m a survivor of CSA and Intimate Partner Abuse and I support other victims of abuse (both male and female, but mostly female survivors). Many abused wives testify that they’ve been labelled BPD by mental health professionals, or informally labelled BPD by their abuser and his allies.

I sure do know that. The weaponization of BPD against victims of horrific abuse is totally reprehensible, IMO.
